Meet Dr Nargis Noori
Dr. Noori is a distinguished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a rich academic background and extensive clinical experience. Following her graduation with Honours in Medical Science, she pursued her medical degree at the University of Sydney. Subsequently, Dr Noori completed rigorous specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, acquiring invaluable expertise through placements at Nepean Hospital, Westmead Hospital, and Orange Base Hospital.
Dr. Noori has completed the esteemed advanced laparoscopic gynaecology fellowship, accredited by the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgery Society (AGES). Dr. Noori specializes in managing conditions such as endometriosis, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, fertility issues, and complex gynaecological surgeries.
Currently holding the position of Staff Specialist at Westmead Hospital and Auburn Hospital, Dr. Noori is deeply involved in research endeavours and remains dedicated to shaping the future of Obstetrics and Gynaecology through education. Her contributions extend globally, with presentations at national and international conferences, reflecting her commitment to advancing the field.
Motivated by her ambition to broaden her leadership scope, Dr Noori is also pursuing an Associate Fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, cultivating a strong interest in leadership positions within healthcare.

When should I have my first pregnancy care appointment?
Ideally, it's best to consult with your obstetrician when you begin planning your pregnancy. Once you're pregnant, we like to see you between 9 to 12 weeks of pregnancy. This appointment will be comprehensive, allowing me to gather a detailed medical history, conduct any required examinations, order necessary tests, and address any concerns you may have. We encourage you to bring your partner with you to this appointment if possible.
What do I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a referral from your GP, all blood and ultrasound results and a list of any medications that you may be taking. If you have any concerns or questions, please make a list so we can cover them during your appointment.
Which hospital can I undergo surgery at or delivery my baby?
I provide care at Westmead Private Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital. Additionally, I hold appointments at Westmead Public Hospital and Auburn Hospital.
